The chart give us a breakdown of the current earnings per size sold. 62% of the sales resulted in earnings under $20 ( sizes 7-8.5, 10.5-12 and 13). Sizes 7 resulted in a +$44 profit and that’s a good sign, since 3 distinct sales led to this. We have to exercise a bit of caution with sizes 6.5 and 12.5, they both lead to astronomical profits but these are all the result on 2 sales’ data. The five number summary gives us additional information

Minimum: 127
Quartile Q1: 145
Median: 153
Quartile Q3: 175.75
Maximum: 317
The lowest sale recorded was $127, for a size 10 while the highest sale was $317 ( size 6.5). Another 6.5 sold for $251, so this is definitely a good size to target. 72% of the shoes sold for prices from $140 to $189, that’s a good sign, resulting in profit margins from $5 to $50. There were three outliers, $249,$251, $317 corresponding to sizes 12.5,6.5 and another 6.5. With those outliers taking away, the overall average resale value is $158, for a +$22 profit, and a 18% mark up, slightly above average. so what’s the verdict?

Verdict

The Nike Dunk High Laser Blue is definitely worth reselling especially on sizes 6.5 and 12.5, according to the data. Given the colorway, this is a shoe with great long term potential so the investment is worth it. You have nothing to worry about, you won’t be losing any money.

Nike Dunk Low NH Cacao Wow: Resale Value

The chart gives us a summary of the average sale price of the shoe since June 7,2022. Based on the records, prices tend to lie within the $116 to $120 interval. The last two days have seen no changes at all, the current resale value is about $119. But let’s go a bit further and see what the five number summary reveals.
Minimum: 95
Quartile Q1: 112
Median: 120.5
Quartile Q3: 132
Maximum: 168
The lowest sale recorded thus far is $95 (size 7), while the highest was $168 ( size 11). But the size 11 has since gone down to $108. 53% of the shoes sold for prices between $108 and $125, while 8% sold for values from $95 to $108. 22% sold for prices from $125 to $134 and the remaining 17% sold for prices from $134 o $168. $167 and $16 were considered outliers, that is very important for our projections. It is definitely safe to say that the average sale price will be about $123, resulting in a $5 loss. This isn’t a Nike Releases Dates 2022 shoe I would recommend. If you want to see how most sizes are performing, refer to the chart below.

9 out 14 of the sales resulted in losses ( that is 64%), while 36% led to earnings $25 an under. The only sizes that might be really worth reselling might be the 14 and the 15. But in all honesty, I wouldn’t recommend buying this shoe at all for resale purposes.
Verdict

The Cacao Dunk Low is definitely a great looking shoe with incredible craftsmanship, but as far as resale is concerned, I wouldn’t recommend it. However, this is good news for buyers who’ll probably be able to snatch a pair for retail or even under. Leave your further queries in the comment section below.

Nike Dunk High I Got Next: Resale Value

The graph above summarizes the average sale price of the sneaker since June 23, 2022. The highest average, $200, was achieved on June 24th. In the three days that followed, the resale value plummeted to $120. On June 28th, however, the average sale price increased to $169. The fluctuations in the prices can be explained by a variety of factors. Maybe the sample size is too small or maybe prices vary according to the sizes. This is why we need to compute the five number summary.

Minimum: 112
Quartile Q1: 121.25
Median: 136
Quartile Q3: 162
Maximum: 200

The sample size was indeed a little small , with only 16 sales recorded. So far the lowest sale recorded was $112 ( size 10), that is 10.4% below the MSRP. The highest sale was $200 ( size 9), recorded on June 24. Another size 9 sold for $168 on the 28th of June ( keep that in mind). 25% of the shoes sold for prices from $112 to $121.25 ( a size 8, 9.5, 10 and 12). 50% sold for prices from $121.15 to $162 ( see chart below for sizes). And another 25% sold for prices from $162 to $200 ( 2 sizes 9, a size 8 and a size 11). There were no outliers and the average sale price is $144, resulting in a $2 loss. But let’s look at the current earnings per size sold to see if the shoe is worth reselling at all.

75% of the sales led to losses while only 25% resulted in earnings between $10 and $35 ( sizes 9 and 11). What’s the verdict?

Verdict

Good news for buyers and collectors, you’ll be able to get the shoe for a decent price ( even below retail). For those seeking to resell it, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re targeting it for the long term. This is a shoe with the potential to reach the $250 mark in about 24 months. But do you want to wait that long? If you have any further questions about this shoe, leave them in the comment section below

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 USA Releases in 2022

It was a typical Friday morning. I woke up early and headed to my usual FTL. I spent hours browsing the shelves, looking for that perfect pair of shoes. But on this particular day, something caught my eye. In the middle of the store, tucked away from the rest of the merchandise, was a single shoe. It was the Nike air Griffey max 1 USA. I knew right there they were a must pick up.

The Griffey was originally introduced in 1996, during the height of Ken Griffey Jr’s career. It was one of the first signature shoes released by Nike, and it quickly became a favorite among sneakerheads. The shoe featured a full-length Air Max unit for maximum cushioning, and a cross-strap design that provided support and lockdown. The shoe was also equipped with a Phylon midsole and a rubber outsole with incredible traction pattern. The Griffey was truly ahead of its time, and it remains one of the most iconic sneakers ever released.
The white, red, and blue colorway was inspired by the American flag. The shoe is made of premium tumbled leather with nubuck overlays. The strap features Griffey’s famous number 24, among other details. Not to mention the swooshes on the toe and back. Nike did not forego performance and comfort in the name of aesthetics. The shoe has an incredible cushioning system and an inner sleeve for comfort. If you plan on picking up a pair, refer to the details below

Jordan 9 Particle Grey: Stock Numbers
The stock numbers are relatively high, so we’ll go with the following distribution of the number of pairs per size based on the past records ( via Nike SNKRS)

Size 7 (243), size 7.5 (615), size 8 (2400), size 8.5 (2619), size 9 (3117), size 9.5 (3159), size 10 ?(5214), size 10.5 (5217), size 11 (4056), size 11.5 (3045) size 12 (3921), size 12.5 (240), size 13 (3179), size 14 (900), size 15 (210), size 16-18 ( 30 pairs per size).

Total projected for Nike SNKRS= 38,225 pairs

We’ll assume that Nike receives about 80 % of the total inventory and the remaining retailers will split the rest:

Total number of pairs projected for the USA= 38,225 pairs +( 38,225/4)pairs=47,781 pairs let’s just round it off to 48,000 pairs. We can assume that numbers will lie somewhere between 40,000 pairs and 80,000 pairs. I’ll provide more accurate numbers within the next 24 hours. Now let’s see how the shoe is performing on third party marketplaces.

Air Jordan 9 Retro Particle Grey: Resale Value

The chart gives us a summary of the average sale price of the shoe since Jun 6, 2022. The last three days’ records are the most important. Overall the price has only decreased by roughly -$6.50 every day since 6/6/202. The highest averages occurred between the 9th and the 13th. Since then , the resale value has gone down to the low $300’s and is currently between $260 and $280. I expect the current values not to change significantly ( maybe by 1% to 5%). But let’s see what the five number summary reveals.
Minimum: 245
Quartile Q1: 279.25
Median: 289.5
Quartile Q3: 323
Maximum: 400

The lowest sale recorded was $245 (size 11), that’s good news because it exceeds the MSRP by almost 16%. The highest sale recorded was $400 (also for a size 11) but that occurred on June 8, 2022. 25% of the shoes sold for prices from $245 to $279 ( a size 8, 2 size 9, 4 size 9.5, 2 size 10, a size 10.5, 7 11’s, 2 11.5’s, 3 12’s and 2 13’s). 50% sold for prices from $279 to $323 ( see chart below for sizes), and another 25% sold for prices from $323 to $400. But it is important to mention that sizes that lie within the top 25% are from sales that occurred before June 15th, 2022. There were only two outliers {399, 400} corresponding to sizes 10 and 11. The overall average resale value ( even with the outliers) taken out is $299, resulting in a +$60, for a 28% mark up. That’s impressive for a General Release Jordan Retro. As I mentioned earlier, I don’t think the current averages will diminish significantly ( but it is something to keep in mind though).

54 percent of sales resulted in earnings of $30 to $60. ( sizes 8,9,10.5,11.5-12,13 and 14). The remaining 46 percent results in profit margins ranging from $60 to $80. ( sizes 7.5,8.5,9.5,10,11,12.5). The best size to aim for if you want to earn more than $60 is size 12.5. Always keep in mind that prices can drop unexpectedly.

UPDATE 6/1: Nike reveals official photos of the Air Jordan 9 “Particle Grey” releasing June 20th.

Nike SB High Pineapple: Resale Value

The graph above depicts the average sale price of the shoe since June 12,2022. The overall trend is positive, but it is a little weak. The current resale value is $133, but the day isn’t over, so I wouldn’t be too concerned. One thing is certain: current prices aren’t impressive and will most likely fall between $130 and $150. The five number summary will give us better insights into this shoe.

Minimum: 119
Quartile Q1: 135
Median: 140
Quartile Q3: 147
Maximum: 263

The lowest sale recorded was $119 for a size 9.5 while the highest sale was $263 for a size 15, that’s understandable. 25% of the shoes sold for prices from $119 to $135 ( a size 7.5, 3 size 8, 4 8.5’s, 10 size 9, 9 size 9.5, 3 10’s, a 10.5 and 11). Half of the shoes sold for prices between $135 and $147 ( check chart below for exact sizes). Another 25% sold for prices from $147 to $263 ( refer to the chart below).

Set of outliers: {168, 169, 169, 170, 173, 175, 177, 251, 253, 258, 263}. Based on the data, anything above $168 is considered an outlier, and this confirm our earlier assertions. The resale price will most likely lie within the $140 to $160 range. The chart below will give us more information.

Air Jordan 4 WMNS Canvas Releases in Summer 2022

The Air Jordan 4 Canvas might be a no-no for some traditionalists. The women’s exclusive sneaker is unlike most 4’s we’ve seen in the past, featuring a canvas upper instead of the traditional leather. The Women Air Jordan 4 shoe is dressed in a Sail, Cement Grey, and Fire Red color scheme, with hits of paint splatter graphics throughout the outsole. With summer right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to rock a pair of textile kicks. Whether you’re a fan of the upper or not, there’s no denying that this is a dope shoe. For purchase purposes, refer to the details below

Air Jordan 4 Blank Canvas Resale Value

Based on the chart above, the shoe has a positive trend. The average sale price has increased by roughly $5 every day since June 10, 2022. There’s a model breakdown though on the 13th, the resale value was $255. Usually one of the major factor that affects prices is sizing. So let’s find our five number summary for better insights.

Minimum: 200
Quartile Q1: 232
Median: 256
Quartile Q3: 301
Maximum: 339
You can clearly see that the lowest the shoe sold for was $200 ( size 9w), while the highest sale recorded was $339 (size 11.5w). This is a size to keep in mind if you’re looking for homeruns. 1/4 of the sales recorded were between $200 and $232 ( 6 size 10w, 2 size 11w, a size 5w, 2 size 6w, a size 5.5w, 3 size 7.5w,2 size 7w, 3 8w, 1 8.5w, an a 9.5w). Half of the shoes sold for prices from $232 to $301. And the top 25% sales were between $301 and $339. The graph that will follow will give you a breakdown of the earnings per size sold ( with the sale price attached). I’m also going to add the following observations. Size 10.5w has relatively decreased by $3 with time. But the latest sale recorded was above $300 ( a bit volatile). Size 10w has increased with time on the other hand. No outliers were recorded, so the distribution is pretty normal, and the overall average resale value is $266, for a +$9 return and a 4% mark up. Compared to most Jordan 4’s , this is very weak.

Verdict

I wouldn’t recommend reselling the Jordan 4 Canvas unless you get a size 11.5w or 12w. Even with those sizes, there is a good chance that the current prices will fall. 40% of the pairs sold result in significant losses, while 33% result in earnings of less than $10.

Do not resell this colorway unless you can get them for less than retail.

I’ve got some questions for you to mull over. How do you think the Jordan 4 canvas compares to previous models? Do you think the “canvas” material used on it has anything to do with the low resale value? Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comment section.

Air Jordan Legacy 312 Chicago will be released in 2022

The element of surprise is one of the most rewarding aspects of sneaker scouting. You never know what you’ll come across. Sneaker blogs don’t do non-hyped sneakers justice, so one must go on the hunt to find hidden gems. I came across the Air Jordan Legacy 312 Chicago a few days ago while browsing the mall and was instantly sold on the colorway.

The Jordan Legacy 312 received mixed reviews upon its initial release. Some loved the daring combination of three classic Nike/Jordan silhouettes, while others thought it was sacrilege to mix such iconic shoes. The three silhouettes represented are the Nike Alpha Force, the Jordan 1 and the Jordan 3, but the 3’s are clearly the most prominent. This particular colorway was introduced to pay homage to the Bulls’ iconic white, red, and black uniforms. While many people dislike the legacy 312 and even make fun of it, I believe it is a fantastic hybrid.

My thoughts on the Jordan Legacy 312 Chicago

I think Nike/Jordan Brand did a great job of seamlessly transitioning between the three shoes while still keeping the overall aesthetic of the Legacy 312 intact. The clean lines and natural transition between these three shoes make for a sneaker that is both stylish and practical. And while some may find the swoosh logo on the panels to be too loud, I think it’s a necessary nod to the Alpha Force’s legacy. The use of quality materials on the upper – including smooth tumbled leather and soft leather – also gives the Legacy 312 a luxurious feel that is reminiscent of the base shoes. But ultimately, it is the classic white, red, and black color scheme that makes the sneaker pop out. Let’s also not forget that it is reasonably priced, making it a great option for sneakerheads on a budget. And finally, the Legacy 312 is widely available, so you shouldn’t have any trouble tracking down a pair.

Air Jordan 1 Volt Visionaire: Resale Value

The chart above gives us a breakdown of the average sale price between June 7 and 9. The resale value went from $246 to $271 within the first two days and dropped by roughly $44 on June 9. There could be many reasons why there is no consistency, outliers. So for more accurate insights, let’s find our five number summary.
According to the above records, the lowest sale was $189 (size 9.5), while the highest sale was $343. ( size 4.5 and 15). These sales occurred on June 8, and they account for the $271 average sale price in the chart. 25% of the shoes sold for prices from $189 to $220 ( 2 size 8.5, 3 size 9.5, a size 10, 2 size 10.5, a size 8, 11 and 11.5). 50% sold for prices from $220 to $275 ( a size 8, 3 size 8.5, 2 size 9, 4 size 9.5, 2 size 10, 2 size 11, 3 size 12 and 4 size 13). Another 25% sold for prices from $275 to $343 ( a size 4.5, 6, 8.5, 2 size 9, a size 10, 10.5, 11, 2 size 11.5, 1 size 12, 14 and 2 size 15).

There were no outliers, so the distribution was normal. The average resale price is $250, resulting in a +$46 margin for a 25.31 percent markup. The chart below will show you the current earnings per size sold.

About 47% of the shoes sold lead to margins between $15 and $50. 20% lead to margins from $60 to $90 and another 20% lead to margins $100 and above. It’s safe to say that this is certainly a relatively good investment option. It all depends on the size you acquire. I do want to mention that only one size 4.5 and 6 were sold. That’s a small sample size and for that reason, we can’t be very certain that the average sale price will remain high. But sizes 14 and 15 will definitely lead to homeruns.
